Thrasher Focuses on One Community

Giving Back to the Omaha Community 

When we give back to the community around us, we are not only creating ripples of goodness in the community but are also making a difference to those around us.

The Omaha Street School is a faith-based non-profit alternative high school that helps at-risk youth find the road to success. Their focus is to help students find ambition through education and vocation while breaking the cycle of trauma and generational poverty. When each student walks through the door they are given a fresh start and clean slate known as Tabula Rosa.

For many of these students’ lunch is the only meal they receive, and each day lunch is provided by volunteers. Members of the commercial team brought drinks, food and dessert to 40 students and staff. Serving lunch as a team was impactful because each student came through the line with a smile on their face.

One Community 

One Community is a core value that we are proud to live out. When we are One Community, we not only advocate for our community, but we are returning the blessings we’ve been given. We are humbled and grateful for the opportunities put before us and believe reciprocity is important. We are honored to support all those who live and work around us.

We are humbled to have the chance to give back to the community that has given so much to us. As a team we are proud to serve lunch to the students and staff at the Omaha Street School and share the blessings we’ve been given with the community around us.
