Photo Album: Foundation Wall Bracing in Des Moines, IA
A couple of homeowners were very concerned about their wall in the basement. The house needed some work done on it and they had Midwest Basement Systems out to see if we could do anything. Our system design specialist said we could prevent the walls from bowing any more and put them back in place. The homeowners decided to have the work done and have PowerBraces installed.
PowerBraces in the basement
PowerBraces are up but not ready to use yet. They have a few things to do before they completely install the PowerBraces.

Gap in the wall
Can you see the gap in between the steel beam and the wall? These PowerBraces will help that.

First part of the job
The first thing they have to do to install the braces is to cut some space in the wall to have them set.
