GRAND ISLAND, Neb. – February 27, 2019
Thrasher, Inc. is excited to announce the opening of their first satellite location at 3721 W Old Potash Hwy in Grand Island, Nebraska.
The decision to open a satellite office in Grand Island was the result of efforts to improve both operating efficiency and employee satisfaction.
“We've been helping homeowners across the entire state of Nebraska for most of our 44-year history,” states Thrasher president, Dan Thrasher. “This move will allow us to serve central Nebraska more efficiently and help create more balance for our crews when it comes to travel. Our employees will be able to spend less time on the road and more time at home with their families.”
Thrasher has hired 10 employees in Grand Island to-date, operating three crews from the facility on Old Potash Highway, which formerly housed Carnivores Meat. Thrasher's solid on-boarding and training program has made for a seamless transition, and there is potential for additional job openings as the company continues to grow.
“I've got a great support system at Thrasher,” states Dustin McAtee, Branch Manager for the Grand Island location. “We began hiring and training last fall to prepare for our busy season in the spring. In four months, we've gone from an empty building to three fully operating crews who are already carrying out Thrasher's mission to provide remarkable experiences for homeowners.”
“Growing up, I always remember my parents putting their employees first and doing whatever it took to make people happy,” says Dan. “And that's something that we continue to carry on today. Our people – both employees and customers – are what make us who we are.” Thrasher was founded in 1975 and is headquartered in Omaha. Originally focused on basement waterproofing and foundation repair solutions, Thrasher has grown to become experts in other services, such as concrete leveling and repair.
