Concrete Sealing Services in Nebraska, Missouri, Colorado, Iowa & Kansas
Whether you've just built a brand-new home or recently updated your existing driveway, patio, or sidewalk, it makes sense to protect your investment by protecting your concrete slabs and floors.
You could buy a do-it-yourself solution at your local big-box store, but application is messy, and it has to be reapplied every few years, which can get expensive. Plus, it likely won't be compatible with new concrete.
Unlike concrete sealers available at big-box stores, SealantPro™ concrete sealant from Thrasher Foundation Repair permanently protects exterior and interior concrete with just one application — and extends its life by 3-5 times in the process!
Sealant Pro:
- Permanently protects concrete with just one application
- Protects and adds value to your home by extending the life of your driveway, pool deck and other concrete structures by 3-5 times
- Penetrates concrete and permanently bonds with it, helping it resist stains from liquids such as oil or gasoline
- Can be applied on new concrete
- Can be applied to interior concrete floors, including basements and garages
- Costs less over time because it does not need to be reapplied
- Reduces ice bonding, making ice removal easier
- UV resistant and won't discolor over time
Winterize your concrete with SealantPro
Concrete sealant can protect your concrete from the freeze/thaw cycle. SealantPro penetrates deeply into the concrete's pores and bonds with the concrete, providing a solid, permanent barrier against melting snow, ice, and rainwater. SealantPro also protects the concrete against pitting, flaking, and cracking in the winter and year-round.
Our Approach to Concrete SealingWhen we visit your home for the first time, you can expect a thorough inspection and a thorough explanation of the concrete sealing solution we propose and why. We offer several levels of protection and tailor our recommendations to your specific needs. SealantPro is a great solution for protecting new concrete, but it's also effective for older concrete as part of a comprehensive concrete protection system. Better yet, SealantPro can be used in both exterior and interior settings, offering superior protection for concrete basement floors, garage floors, patios, pool decks, and more. So how does it work? First, your concrete is lifted and leveled using PolyLevel® polyurethane foam. Then, your cracked concrete and control joints are filled and sealed using NexusPro™ joint sealant. Finally, the whole surface is protected from the elements with a coat of SealantPro concrete sealant, which permanently bonds to your concrete. When you protect your home's concrete, you can rest assured it will keep looking and working great well into the future — plus you'll sleep better knowing you've got a five-year warranty. |

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Almost any concrete surface can be sealed, and any concrete that is exposed to wear and tear and natural elements will benefit from concrete sealing. That means exterior concrete like patios, driveways, and sidewalks as well as interior concrete like garages and basement floors. Whether inside or out, concrete sealing protects concrete surfaces from moisture, chemical elements and seasonal changes, which helps to prevent pitting, flaking and cracking.
-
If your concrete is in need of lifting, leveling or crack repair, we complete these repairs first. Then we apply SealantPro, which permanently bonds with the concrete and protects it from moisture, chemical elements and seasonal changes. It dries and cures quickly, allowing for regular use of your concrete driveway, sidewalk, patio, garage, or basement within hours.
-
At Thrasher, we use SealantPro concrete sealant for concrete sealing projects. It permanently protects concrete with just one application, extending its life by 3-5 times. It's stain-resistant and UV-resistant, so it won't discolor over time.
-
Driveways, walkways and sidewalks are exposed to a lot of wear and tear. When the soil supporting it becomes weak or a void is formed, concrete slabs can crack and sink. There are many things that can create a void beneath a concrete slab, such as erosion from rainwater or gutter runoff, or a tree root that has rotted over time. Clogged gutters, downspouts that are not installed correctly, and poor yard drainage can make erosion worse. Dirt fill underneath the slab that has not been well compacted can also create voids beneath concrete.
-
Most concrete sealing projects take our crews a single day to complete, and SealantPro dries and cures quickly, allowing your concrete to be used normally within hours.
-
Uneven concrete is extremely common due to wear and tear and changing weather patterns which affect the soils below. In some cases, the damage is cosmetic only; in others it may pose a tripping hazard or trouble pulling into your garage. The most serious concrete leveling problems that we find are those that impact surrounding structures - in most cases, your home. A sinking concrete driveway near your garage can lead to foundation cracks and expensive damage over time.
