Foundation Repair Photo Album: Wall Support in Denver, CO
This rental property owner bought a fixer upper property with a few units that was out of state from where he lives. He knew that it needed some wall support structures, so he researched companies in the Denver area and came across our solutions. System Design Specialist Anthony Salcedo went out to inspect the rental property, finding that the walls were all experiencing varying degrees of failure. After seeing this, he got straight to work on contacting the homeowner and designing solutions custom to each wall so that the owner could successfully use this rental property. When the property owner decided to move forward with the project, one of our installation teams came to install the wall support solutions. Check out the process our team went though!
Bowing Wall
The walls surrounding the windows were bowing in and they did not touch the floor properly anymore. These walls were experiencing significant degrees of failure and they were at the point of almost collapsing when Anthony arrived to inspect them.
Cracked and Bowing Wall
This wall adjacent to the window wall had significant cracks as well as a problem of bowing. This was the highest degree of wall failure before total collapse, so when Anthony saw this during his inspection, he knew that he needed to act quickly.
GeoLock Anchors Installed
In one of the units, the bathroom walls were bowing in, however the wall failure was not as severe as other walls. Our installation team utilized GeoLock Wall Anchors to stabilize the wall and help to push it back over time with tightening.
EverBrace Wall Support Installed
The wall that was experiencing the highest degree of failure was the first wall our installation team started working on. They installed the EverBrace Wall Support System to permanently stabilize the wall. This acts as a second wall that holds the weight that the failing wall couldn't.
EverBrace System and Supplemental Support Posts
The walls were not the only structural problem in this rental property. The support beam was also falling, so when the installation team came, they installed the additional support of the EverBrace System and SmartJacks to stabilize the support beam as well.
