Foundation Repair Photo Album: Street Creep Repair in Lincoln, NE
Street creep was the culprit of these homeowners foundation and concrete issues. This family had called us out originally for cracking in the basement floor. System Design Specialist, Coley O'Halloran, found this was not problematic. but found signs of street creep pushing on their foundation walls. When going to the family with the findings, they knew this was something they needed to get fixed sooner than later. Together they decided on using CompressionGuard to create a buffer from the concrete expansion, giving long lasting results of foundation and concrete protection. They also decided on the Concrete Protection System which includes Polylevel foam to lift and level and NexusPro to fill in the joints and cracks. There is no doubt this family has the peace of mind they were looking for!
Street Creep Detection
When the concrete from the roads expand between seasons, it can cause it to push on driveways and can cause driveways to sink, crack, and push into the foundation walls. It is important to be preventive with a high quality CompressionGuard!
Unsealed Joints on Driveway
Unsealed joints as these can let water get under the concrete and can cause the concrete to start to sink. Water will washout the dirt under, leaving the concrete with little to no support to lay.
Concrete Protection System Installed
This is the after of a Concrete Protection System installation. The Polylevel foam is injected under the concrete to give it support and lift back into place, and NexusPro is used to fill in the joints and cracks to prevent any more washout.
Polylevel and NexusPro
Polylevel is used under the concrete and expands to lift, level and stabilize the concrete. NexusPro is used to seal joints and cracks.
