This family was wanting to put in some new flooring, but the floor was unlevel. They knew they needed to solve this issue before moving on to install the flooring. They were also worried someone might fall since it was so uneven. The knew of Thrasher reputation and knew we would do it right. They gave us a call and System Design Specialist, Brett Barney, came out to meet with them. Brett did a full, thorough inspection and found the main beams were settling into the dirt. All the weight of the house was causing the beams to fall into the soil, then causing the floor to sag. Brett took these findings back to the family and together decided on the best solution for them. We used a supplemental beam and used smart jacks to stabilize the floor. The family loved this solution and are excited to start the process of putting in new flooring. We know there is no doubt this restored their peace of mind, and we are happy to stand behind our work.

This homeowner had been searching for concrete repair for a while, his concrete had been getting worse and worse over the years and it was time to address it. He was hoping to save it before it got past the point of repair, but was worried replacement was the only option at this point. He read the online reviews from Thrasher, and gave him the confidence in our ability to repair his concrete. System Design Specialist, Kyle Linback, came out to meet this homeowner and did a free inspection for him. Kyle found The extreme cracking and settling was due to poor soil compaction and washout from over the years. Kyle proposed we use our PolyLevel and NexusPro to lift and level the concrete back to place, giving it the support it needs again, and to fill in the joints and cracking. The homeowner was so surprised and extremely happy we were able to save his concrete! Even though this driveway was in poor shape, we have the right products and crews to help save and fix concrete, over replacement! 

The Customer had noticed significant sloping in his floors and his downstairs bathroom door was not closing properly. He chose us to fix the issue because he had already tried several different solutions that did not work. He tried big box store jacks, concrete cinder blocks and shimming but none of them worked despite his efforts. 

The problem was that there was no support found in a span of nearly 20 ft. This along with missing supports on another nearby beam was the main cause of the issue. Poor spacing, missing supports, and wet wood that bends cause floors to sag. We fixed the issue by placing our smart jacks in the areas that needed support. We were able to help Veron with 6 smart jacks. Smart jacks are smart because they address the issue of soil and prevent the home from ever sinking into the dirt again. We use a specialized plate that distributes the load and has the ability to raise these floors again.
