System Design Specialist, Anthony Salcedo, came out to meet with him. Anthony did his inspection and found the soil underneath his foundation was causing the front side of his house to sink into the Earth. The sinking was causing multiple cracks in the living space upstairs. There was also movement in his driveway due to the same bad soil in the area. To fix this issue, Anthony proposed we install Push Piers on the foundation to properly stabilize. He also proposed we use PolyLevel and NexusPro in his garage and driveway to lift, level, and stabilize the slabs, as well as seal the joints and cracks. Steve loved this solution, so we sent out our installation team. There is no doubt he is worrying anymore about his forever home. 

This family just poured new concrete due to previous damage. They wanted to ensure that the new concrete was protected before new damage occurs. They called Thrasher because they had heard of their impressive warranties and reputation. System Design Specialist, Mark Gebauer, came out to meet with them. Mark saw there was no active problems with the concrete and decided on using our Sealant Pro to protect the surface of the concrete against pitting or spalling. Even though this may have seemed like too small of project, we were all in to help with this project as it meant so much to the family. There is no doubt that the family does not have to worry about their concrete anymore! 

This family has been living here for a while. They noticed their front porch getting worse and worse over the years and were done dealing with it. They knew it was a problem that was not going to fix itself, so they started their research. He did his inspection, and found the soil under the slab was shifting due to an abundant amount of moisture caused by bad drainage. He went back to the family with these findings and a solution. We fixed this porch slab by using our Polylevel to lift and level and stabilize back into place. We also used our NexusPro to seal the joints and cracks. No only did this fix the slab that was sinking, but also saved the pillars and remaining stoop. They were so happy with the finished product, and we know they have the peace of mind they deserve! 

Our customers in Littleton, CO had purchased their home over 10 years ago, and had problems with the floor and foundation of their house since the day they had moved in. This couple now with twins on the way wanted to solve their problem so their family could safely enjoy the basement space. Our crew determined that the soil under their basement floor was causing the floor to move up, and could cause major problems to the foundation of their home. We solved the problem by installing our SmartJack and Helical Piers systems to give support to the walls and ensure the floor can not move up or down causing structural issues.

After doing the inspection, Anthony found the way they built the foundation of the home was too heady for the small amount of base they designed for the load. This base is a caisson base that is to prevent heave. This did prevent heaving, but there was not enough support to prevent it from sinking. There was a few inch drop from one side to the other. They had a few bids out, and we were the ones that were able to diagnose it correctly, showing them what the house was doing and why our solution was the best possible solution to fix the problem. Anthony proposed a full perimeter push piers, as well as smart to support the loadbearing beam in the middle of the home. This can help lift the home back into place. The homeowners were glad we had the patience and practice of going over this design with them until they understood the why behind everything. The were happy with the entire process, and had a great experience with the crews. There is no doubt they are ready to sell this property!
