Concrete Lip Lifted in Ottumwa, IA

This homeowner was tired of hitting the joints on the concrete while removing snow in the winter. He wanted his driveway to look nice and be easy to shovel for the coming winter, so he decided to give us a call regarding his concrete.

We sent System Design Specialist Luke Miller to inspect the concrete joints an determine where we could help to smooth the concrete. Luke noticed that a couple sections of the driveway had settled slightly, causing a lip that would catch a snow blower or shovel, and also cause a tripping hazard down the road. After discussing this issue with the homeowner, they went ahead and scheduled an installation appointment to get the homeowner's concrete fixed. One of our concrete installation teams came to this home and lifted the settled slabs using PolyLevel foam. The team was able to bring the concrete back to its original location and keep it stabilized. Next, our team sealed the cracks and joints of the concrete using NexusPro sealant to ensure that the driveway looked nice, and to also prevent water or any other material from getting caught in the concrete's joints and cracks.

The homeowner was very excited with the way that his concrete turned out and he really liked to see it level again. Check out this homeowner's newly leveled concrete!

Sagging Floors Lifted in Des Moines, IA

This homeowner previously had wall support serviced by us, and she wanted to improve the support in her basement once again. She was getting her floors redone upstairs, but she was afraid that the floors had began to sag over the years in her home. She wanted her floors to be level and secure for when she redid them, so she gave us a call for addition support in her basement.

We had our Service Technician Joe Rebik inspect the floors to and determine where additional support was needed. Joe found that there was no support for the flooring, only the wall supports that one of our teams had installed previously. This would be concerning, however the homeowner found the problem before anything worse could have happened. She wanted Joe to fix this problem quickly, so Joe set up another installation appointment for the homeowner. Soon, our installation team came out and installed 2 supplemental beams as well as 4 SmartJacks to lift and stabilize the floors.

Cracked Concrete Repair in Raytown, MO

This homeowner was struggling with water in his basement, so he called us out for basement waterproofing. The basement was waterproofed using WaterGuard and CleanSpace, but not before the home had been damaged by the water problems of the past. We were able to install PowerBraces and GeoLock Anchos to save the falling walls in addition to the waterproofing materials used.

A few months later, the homeowner was concerned because his concrete was sloping towards the foundation walls, and the concrete was cracked which allowed water to seep into the soil next to the foundation. He was worried that the concrete would start to damage the parts of his foundation that were not previously damaged, so he decided to give us a call.

We sent System Design Specialist Ian Pfister to inspect the concrete cracks and determine if these would hurt the foundation that had no previous damage. Ian found that the concrete cracks were leading water to the nondamaged portion of the foundation. One of our concrete repair teams utilized NexusPro sealant to seal the cracks and joints to prevent any damage to his other foundation walls.

The homeowner was very happy with the work that was done and he is relieved to have his home safe from water damage. Check out the homeowner's fixed concrete!
