Shifted Concrete Leveled and Sealed in Des Moines, IA

Licona W. noticed that the concrete was settling and was worried about the concrete forcing water to poll by the garage and foundation. Looking for a concrete leveling solution, he decided to give Thrasher Foundation Repair a call.

System Design Specialist Rich Lathrum went out to Licona’s home. He was able to see that concrete slabs were sinking next to the foundation, allowing for water to poll and reverse slope. The crew was able to lift the concrete by using PolyLevel and NexusPro Joint Sealant to close up the joints and cracks preventing future water intrusion. Licona was happy with how the concrete looked once the project was completed.

Wet and Moldy Basement Waterproofed in Des Moines, IA

Homeowner Tiffany T. started to notice mold and water issues in the basement. She had major concerns about how this would not only impact her home but the foundation as well. Having had Thrasher Foundation Repair come out to her home before, she decided to give us another call.

Service Technician Brandon Rost went out to Tiffany’s home. He was able to identify that mold was forming on the interior walls and a section of foundation wall was failing.  To stabilize the failing foundation wall the crew installed a PowerBraces. We encapsulated and waterproofed the entire basement with CleanSpace and WaterGaurd. To help keep the humidity levels down we also installed a Sedona SaniDry Dehumidifier.

Concrete Leveling in Omaha, NE

Page B. is a homeowner in Omaha, NE and was concerned with a crack and possible settlement on the back patio. Familiar with Thrasher and our reputation within her family, she gave us a call to come inspect the possible damage. System Design Specialist Jeremy Haynes arrived at the Omaha home to analyze the problematic area. It was evident that the back patio had settled in a few areas causing water to rest against the foundation when it rains. With unsealed joints, the water was pooling near the walk out basement door and running under the back patio.

Page opted to have our two-part concrete protection service installed to ensure this is a permanent fix. The team began by installing our PolyLevel foam to lift and restore the settled areas to their original state. Then, with NexusPro they sealed all the control joints and along the foundation to seal out water and prevent any future damage.

The homeowner was pleased with the results and effectiveness of our concrete protection system. Page wanted the job done right and continues to put her faith in the solutions Thrasher has to offer.

Driveway Leveling in Remsen, IA

This Remsen, IA driveway sank after a sever rainstorm washed out a large section of the retaining wall and took the soil underneath with it. The drop off from the garage to the driveway was over three inches tall and made it extremely difficult to pull cars in. Without hesitation, they gave Thrasher a call to find a concrete repair solution.

Our System design Specialist, Dustin Brunsting, arrived in Remsen to evaluate they sunken area. The homeowners thought it wasn’t going to be fixable, but Dustin was positive our PolyLevel foam would restore their driveway back to its original state. Our team arrived and carefully injected the PolyLevel foam underneath the concrete to permanently lift and level the driveway.

The homeowners were more than pleased with the effectiveness of the solution we provided. This is a perfect example of how our concrete repair services are a fraction of the cost compared to replacing.
