We sent System Design Specialist Dillon Gubbels to inspect the basement and determine where the water was coming from. Dillon found that water was seeping in through the floor and there was no drainage system for the water to escape out of. When he found this problem, Dillon talked to the homeowner about fully waterproofing the basement, however the homeowner preferred to fix the immediate problem for now, and consider the full waterproofing at a later time. Our team installed a SuperSump+ in order to pump water out of the basement so that the homeowner would not need to worry about water pooling in his basement.

Rob found that the fireplace was pulling away from the house, creating a gap between the outside wall and the chimney. He also saw that the garage was sinking because of weak fill soil that could not hold the weight of these structures. After thoroughly understanding the problem, Rob talked to the homeowners about options to solve this, and they loved how he described the options, so they decided to move forward with us. We sent System Design Specialist Austin Ahlf to inspect the concrete problems and determine the likely cause. Austin found that the garage approach and the front steps had settled due to a void underneath the concrete caused by poorly compacted, dry soil. Austin talked to the homeowner and determined that the best solution would be to lift, level, and seal the concrete with our 2-Part Concrete Protection System. Our team began restoring the concrete by injecting PolyLevel foam to lift and level the driveway and stairs, then they sealed the concrete's cracks and joints with NexusPro sealant.
