Concrete Repair in Kechi, KS

This homeowner wanted to fix the concrete surrounding his pool. It was cracking pretty bad due to the settlement of the sand underneath. Brent See went out to the home to look at the concrete. Upon inspection, he found one section of the slab completely failed, and another was about to fail. Brent was convinced that the first section was too far gone and would have to be replaced. Our install crew member, Jason Nelson, was not only able to stabilize the concrete, but he was also able to raise several spots around the pool without damaging it.

The homeowner was so happy we were able to fix his concrete and reduce those significant tripping hazards with no damage to the pool at all!

Concrete Repair in Smithville, MO

These two homeowners wanted to fix their settled concrete to maintain their home's value. They chose Thrasher to get the job done because they liked our reps and how easy it is to work with us.

Sam Pretz went out to their home to look at the concrete and develop a solution. He noticed the garage floor had settled due to massive voids underneath it. Because of this, their concrete had begun to crack.

To fix the issue, we used PolyLevel to lift the slab to its original position and then used NexusPro to repair and fill the cracks. The result? Revitalized concrete that increases their home value and reduces tripping hazards!

Both of them were happy with how professional our crew was and how the garage looked when we were done.

Concrete Repair in Primghar, IA.

Lawrence was passionate about the upkeep of his property. He started to notice some cracking in his driveway, which began to cause some concern that something worse could start to happen. Lawrence chose Thrasher because of the protection system we have to preserve his driveway and ensure there are no further problems. After inspecting the project, there was a void under the concrete which caused the slabs to strain and begin to crack. The joints were unsealed, allowing water to get under the concrete, causing weakened soil.

For this project, we used the three-part concrete protection system. PolyLevel was used underneath the concrete to stabilize the area completely. NexusPro was used to seal all the joints and cracks to prevent water from getting under the concrete. The final part is SealantPro, which was used to seal the surface of the concrete and prevent future stains, pitting, or flaking. This system has a 5-year warranty, which Lawrence loved to hear. He can now rest assured that his driveway will not cause any more problems!

Sagging Floors in Belle Plaine, KS

Did you know having very heavy items in your home can cause your floors to sag? This is what happened to LeAnna's home. She had recently put in new tile and drywall, only to have it crack again. It was time to get to the bottom of it. She called Thrasher and we came out to find out what was really going on in this home. Jason White found the home had a very large crawl space without much support. Without that support, things like heavy furniture upstairs will make floors sag.

It's an easy fix, though. We installed SmartJacks and supplemental beams in her crawl space to help fully support the floor and the weight.

LeAnna was so happy with the results and that the crew was able to get the floor within 1/16" throughout her home.

Waterproofing Basement in Emporia, KS

Marcy just purchased her home and wanted to use her basement for storage without worrying about mold, mildew, or water damage. But she noticed water would leak into the basement frequently when it rained. Marcy also runs a daycare from home and wants to ensure her home is as safe as possible for the little kiddos.

System Design Specialist, Nate Franson, got on-site to check out where the water was coming from. He found water would leak in multiple locations from the cold foundation joint, especially during heavy rains. It seemed the previous owners attempted to address wall support failure with weep holes along the bottom of the foundation wall, which only added to the water problem. On top of that, some of the foundation walls had stress cracks from the pressure, which would also leak at times.

To keep the water out, we planned to install an entire perimeter of WaterGuard, full-height CleanSpace, and a lateral line. We tied into her existing sump and went around her current wall support with extended bottom brackets.

The result was great, and now Marcy won't have to deal with water in her basement anymore.
