Thrasher Foundation Repair Before & After Photos

These homeowners just had moved into their new condo, and not even a year later their brand new concrete began to crack. They did not understand why this was happening, but wanted it fixed, so they called Thrasher! One of our System Design Specialists, Jeremey Scott, came out to meet with them. At first, the homeowner just wanted to seal up the cracks, but after further inspection, Jeremey found large voids under the slabs of concrete. Jeremey determined that since this was a new build, the soil under the concrete was shifting and settling. There was almost no support under the slabs, and the concrete started to crack. Jeremey proposed we use our 2-part concrete solution consisting of PolyLevel and NexusPro. PolyLevel would fill in the voids, giving the concrete support to lay on. NexusPro would fill in the gas, joints, and cracks. These homeowners were so happy Thrasher could provide a solution that was proactive and would save them a big headache in the future. These homeowners had a concrete driveway that was over 40 years old. They thought they only solution would be to replaced, but knew it may be expensive. It was becoming an eyesore and a tripping hazard and did not know who to call, so they called Thrasher. They knew we only do repairs, and wanted to see if we could save their concrete. One of our System Design Specialists, Thomas Graff, came out to meet with them. Thomas agreed it was in bad shape, but excited to share how we could save their driveway without replacement. Thomas proposed we use PolyLevel to lift and level the areas that were sinking, and NexusPro to seal the joints and cracks. Thrasher was able to get out fast, and the homeowners loved how we were able to make the concrete like new without replacement. This homeowner was experiencing problems with her wall failing opposite of the wall she fixed because it was also failing. She knew that she wanted to fix this new wall failure problem before she left the home, so she decided to give us a call. We sent Service Technician Sam Hogan to the homeowner's home to see what the new wall problem was and determine how we could solve this new wall problem. Sam found that like the previous wall we had fixed, this wall opposite of that wall was experiencing wall deflection from the pressure of soil pushing the wall inward. Just like our team had used PowerBraces to fix the previous wall, Sam utilized PowerBraces to fix and stabilize this wall. Annually, Sam will come to tighten the PowerBraces so that the wall is pushed back to its original position. This homeowner hated how dirty her crawlspace was because it was started to smell and stink up the whole house! She gave us a call and knew from the minute our System Design Specialist Josh Krestine walked in the door with a smile on his face and wanting to just help out with whatever he could that she wanted to work with us. Josh spoke with the homeowner about the problems she was experiencing, then he went down to the crawlspace and determined the source of her problems. He found what water and moisture was flowing under the foundation walls and releasing water vapor into the crawlspace. After seeing this, Josh worked the homeowner into the schedule for installation quickly so that she wouldn't need to deal with this foul smell for much longer.
