We sent System Design Specialist Dillon Gubbels to inspect the basement and determine where the water was coming from. Dillon found that water was seeping in through the floor and there was no drainage system for the water to escape out of. When he found this problem, Dillon talked to the homeowner about fully waterproofing the basement, however the homeowner preferred to fix the immediate problem for now, and consider the full waterproofing at a later time. Our team installed a SuperSump+ in order to pump water out of the basement so that the homeowner would not need to worry about water pooling in his basement.

This homeowner was experiencing problems with water in her basement, and the noticed a musty smell start to develop. After looking around for who could help her, she gave us a call for a free estimate.

We sent System Design Specialist Jimmy Hungerford to inspect the basement and determine where the water was getting in, as well as where the smell was coming from. Jimmy found that water was coming in the because of hydrostatic pressure against the foundation wall. The pressure forced water into cracks and weak spots in the foundation. The water then traveled through the drywall and onto the floor which also caused mold to grow behind the homeowner's drywall. Jimmy discussed the problem with the homeowner then demonstrated what solutions would fix this, and the homeowner couldn't wait to see what her finished product would look like. These homeowner was reached out to by our team to schedule their annual maintenance appointment. They didn't realize that it had already been a year since our waterproofing systems had been installed, so they decided to schedule their appointment.

We sent Service Technician Brandon Brown to show the homeowners how they can do maintenance themselves at home, as well as to check on the systems one year later. Brandon showed them that their older sump pump system's main pump had a high amount of usage and water that was pooling around the foundation. Brandon expressed his concern about their old system, and talked to the homeowners about cleaning up the pumps so that they could function at a higher level. These homeowners were concerned about their uneven floors. They were already planning to have their radon mitigated, so they decided to have some work done in their crawlspace as well.

They gave us a call for a free estimate, so we sent System Design Specialist James Denning to look at the crawlspace and determine if they were causing the floors to sag. James found that there was a damp, musty smell coming from the crawlspace due to excess moisture in the air, which was also causing the floor supports to weaken. After discussing the options with James and seeing the pre-mailer book they received about crawlspace repairs, they decided to have us take care of their crawlspace repairs. Our team determined that they needed to bury the downspouts so that water could not get into the crawlspace and cause problems with moisture. The team then installed Silver Gloe Insulation to help save on energy cost for the homeowners. Finally, our team addressed the support problems by using SmartJacks and adding supplemental beams to even out the floor as well as installing a CleanSpace Vapor Barrier to finish protecting the support beams from moisture.

This homeowner had water leaking into her storage area in her basement from the corner of his driveway. She was pretty frustrated with this situation, so she decided to give us a call for a free estimate.

We sent System Design Specialist Jordan Mullen to inspect the driveway and determine what caused it to direct water into the storage area. Jordan found that there was a large void in the driveway on a newly poured area and so the stoop cap was leaking. While this problem was not ideal, the homeowner chose for us to fix her driveway because of the communication we sent her regarding her problem as well as the warranties we have on our products. Our team came in to lift, level, and seal the driveway using PolyLevel Concrete Leveling and NexusPro Cracked Concrete Repair. Not only did this solution fix the uneven and cracked driveway, but it also stopped the water flow to the basement.
