Crawl Space Repair Before & After Photos

This homeowner was gifted this home from his father. He started to notice settlement on the back wall where the crawlspace was added and his floors were also sagging. He called Thrasher to come out and inspect. We found, upon inspection, that the add-on crawlspace was not supported sufficiently when it was built. The span from wall to wall was too wide and needed supports in the middle to help the slab not settle. 

To fix the issue, we used our I-beams to run the length of the crawlspace in smart jacks to support the beam so that the floor would not settle or sag.

The homeowner was very happy he doesn't have to concerned about that area and happy he can continue to live in the home that his father built.

Homeowner Jill bought her home in the fall. And in the winter, her pipes froze and burst. This is her forever home so she knew she had to do something. She remembered her brother recently used Thrasher to waterproof his home, so she decided to give us a call, too. Once we sent our System Design Specialist, Jesse White, out to her home, we were able to identify the problem. Upon inspection, we found her crawlspace was uninsulated and not encapsulated. 

Jesse came up with a plan and sent our install team out to work their magic. We ended up encapsulating and insulating to keep the interior of the crawl space clean and dry. On top of that, we also installed a SaniDry Dehumidifier to help keep the space dry. 

Now Jill can rest knowing her home is protected and her pipes are prepared for the following winter.

From time to time, Ivan would get water in his basement. Then he noticed his floors were starting to sag. Worried about mold and the integrity of his home, he wanted to fix this problem, especially since he has plans to give this home to his daughter. He knew a band-aid fix wouldn't work and wanted a permanent solution. So he called Thrasher. Upon inspection, we found that water was entering through the coal joints in the wall. On top of that, his crawl space was sagging as well. We used WaterGuard with a lateral to the sump pump to fix his water issue. We then used CleanSpace, a 100% waterproof plastic vapor barrier, to divert any water intrusion and channel it away from the home. And then, for his crawl space, we installed SmartJacks to lift and level his support beams back into place.
