These homeowners originally called us out to look at cracking they had in the basement floor It was not problematic, but through the rest of the inspection System Design Specialist, Coley O'Halloran, discovered signs of street creep pushing on their foundation walls. The already had foundation issues caused by street creep, so when they found their new expansion joint had failed they knew it was something they needed to fix. Coley proposed we use our CompressionGuard to help this issue. It creates a true buffer from concrete expansion, giving long lasting results of foundation and concrete protection. To fix the issue of the cracking and sinking of the concrete from street creep, Coley proposed our Concrete Protection System. This bundles our Polylevel foam to fill voids underneath slabs and NexusPro which seals up all the joints and cracks. The homeowners loved this solution, and we sent out our installation team. This customer in Bennington, NE was experiencing a leaning wall in their basement causing them real concerns. Our team used wall anchors to give the wall the extra support needed to move the wall back in place and keep it stable. Each of our wall anchor systems is custom-designed and installed by our trained foundation repair experts. 

These homeowners inherited a 100 year old home from their neighbors. They now rent this home to their youngest boy, and started to see some bowing. They heard of Thrasher reputation and quality of work we have done with several other properties throughout the area, so they gave us a call. System Design Specialist, Joe Dearth, came out to meet with them. Joe did an inspection and noticed that washout from several years of rain, then the drought caused the soil to shrink. During the winter months the frost line would freeze and expand the soil into the home, adding a contributing factor to the bowing wall. There were too many utilities in the way to do PowerBraces, so Joe determined we use Wall Anchors. These are metal plates installed to the wall with a rod anchoring them 12 feet out into the existing yard. There is no doubt these homeowners are now feeling safe as ever in their home! This homeowner came to us with a pressing concern: they wanted to prevent their concrete cracks from worsening and preserve the integrity of their property. Having just moved in a month ago, they noticed that the cracks were already getting worse. Our inspection revealed that the driveway was being pushed into the house due to a phenomenon known as "Street Creep." This occurrence, caused by the expansion and movement of the road, exerted pressure on the foundation, leading to cracking and compression issues.

To address this issue comprehensively, we implemented a series of solutions. Firstly, we stabilized the back patio, lifted the pads at the garage, and elevated the sidewalk leading to the front door. By utilizing our trusted Polylevel system, we ensured that the driveway and sidewalk were stable and level. Next, we applied Nexus Pro, a premium concrete sealant, to fill the existing cracks and prevent them from expanding further.

In addition to these measures, we took preventative steps by employing CompressionGuards. These guards act as protective barriers against long-term damage to concrete driveways, garage slabs, and foundation walls. By replacing the traditional fiberboard expansion joints with our engineered expansion joints, we ensured that the concrete could flex and accommodate seasonal changes without compromising its integrity.

This homeowner in Broken Bow, NE had a foundation wall caving in and water getting into the basement of their home. They didn't want the rest of the house to be damaged because of the lack of support on the foundation. 

Our crew came into the house and noticed sagging floors, causing the wall to fail and allowing water to leak in through the wall and floor. Since the wall was a total failure we used our Everbrace system to support the wall, this system transfers the load from the failing structure to the new support panels. We then added a TripleSafe Sump Pump, to be able to flow and drain the water leaking into the basement out away from the foundation of the home.
