Foundation Repair Before & After Photos

This homeowner was experiencing problems with her wall failing opposite of the wall she fixed because it was also failing. She knew that she wanted to fix this new wall failure problem before she left the home, so she decided to give us a call. We sent Service Technician Sam Hogan to the homeowner's home to see what the new wall problem was and determine how we could solve this new wall problem. Sam found that like the previous wall we had fixed, this wall opposite of that wall was experiencing wall deflection from the pressure of soil pushing the wall inward. Just like our team had used PowerBraces to fix the previous wall, Sam utilized PowerBraces to fix and stabilize this wall. Annually, Sam will come to tighten the PowerBraces so that the wall is pushed back to its original position. This homeowner was planning on moving in the coming years, so she knew that she needed to fix any issues so that she could get full value for her home. She called another foundation repair company come to fix her foundation walls, however their anchors were not fixing the wall bowing issues. Frustrated by this solution failing, she decided to give us a call.

We sent System Design Specialist Daryn Britton to inspect the previous wall anchors, determine why the walls were still bowing, and design a solution to fix the walls permanently. Daryn found that the previous anchors had a few problems such as not being installed correctly and that the hydrostatic pressure against the walls was stronger than the anchors were. He knew that these walls could be fixed with anchors that were stronger than the pressure as well as installed correctly, so he called for an installation team to properly fix these walls. One of our installation teams answered the call and came to the home installing GeoLock Wall Anchors on the failing walls.

This homeowner was worried that her retaining wall would fall and her deck to collapse as they were both unsteady. She knew after having used our services in the past that we would be able to help ease these worries and find solutions for her again, so she gave us a call.

We sent System Design Specialist Brock Scott to inspect the retaining wall and deck structures in order to thoroughly understand the problems and design solutions to stabilize the structure. When inspecting for the problem, Brock noticed that the house appeared to have significant water damage to the wooden support wall as well as weakened soil due to soil washout. He knew that this damage would not be beneficial for supporting the deck, so he found that new support posts and anchors were needed. One of our installation teams came to the home and started to utilize SmartJacks to reinforce the deck supports and to support the roof structure in that area. After that, they utilized GeoLock Wall Anchors to pull the retaining wall back overtime which would help the structure to further stabilize.

This rental property owner noticed that the front porch of his property was settling away from the house and he was afraid that it would collapse, pulling down the roof with it. After many sleepless nights, he decided to have someone come look at it, so he called us. 

We sent System Design Specialist Brandon Powers to inspect the porch and determine what was causing the settling problem as well as determine what products would best fix the problem. Brandon found that there was not enough supports built under the porch to hold the weight of the building materials above it, so the supports were slowly sinking under the weight. He knew just not to solve this problem by adding additional, stronger supports, so he called for an installation team to implement this plan. One of our installation teams came out to this home and installed a new mental supplemental support beam along the full length of the porch structure, then they placed SmartJacks with proper spacing underneath this new support beam.

We sent System Design Specialist Matt Jacobson to inspect the wall and determine what was causing it to fall as well as how to fix this problem for the homeowner. Matt found that the old wall anchors on his wall were installed years ago and they were failing to support the wall, allowing it to lean. He knew that these older anchors would not be fixable, so he came up with a plan to use new GeoLock Anchors to stabilize the wall over time. Our installation team came out and installed these new anchors quickly so that the wall could start to push back towards its original position.
