Water Leaking in Through the Walls Repaired in Shenandoah, IA
This homeowner didn't want to come down to water in her basement because she had a bad experience with it in her previous home; she was also concerned about her foundation wall that was leaning in. She used our services for waterproofing in her previous home, so she decided to give us a call to waterproof her home once again.
We sent Service Technician Matt Stice to see what was happening with her foundation wall leaning in, help to fix the wall, and waterproof her basement. Matt found that hydrostatic pressure on the outside of the foundation wall was causing the wall to lean in, so he determine that with Geo-Lock Wall Anchors, the wall could be stabilized and moved back over time. After this, Matt and his team installed a full perimeter WaterGuard Interior Drainage System with a full height CleanSpace Vapor Barrier to seal and create a drain for water to get out of the basement. Finally, Matt installed a TripleSafe Sump Pump to ensure that water would leave the homeowner's house despite the conditions outside and even during power outages.
The homeowner was very happy with the projects that were completed in both her previous home, and her current home. Check out her newly waterproofed and stabilized basement and foundation wall!
Sump Pump Replacement in Wichita, KS
This homeowner bought his sump pump from a company that is no longer open for service. He knew that he needed to have his sump pump inspected, but he hadn't gotten around to it until his basement started to get water in it. He had heard the we service sump pumps in his area, so he gave us a call to check his out.
We sent Service Technician Jason White to inspect the sump pump and determine what was causing it to not function anymore. Jason found that the sump pump case had rusted through and dumped oil into the pit. The pit couldn't hold the heavy rain waters and the oil, so the sump pump couldn't function at full capacity. He quickly discussed with the homeowner how to solve this problem, and Jason then installed a new sump pump to replace the old one. After the installation, Jason scheduled an annual maintenance appointment for the homeowner for next year to ensure that this new sump pump is taken care of and does not have problems with rust.
The homeowner was very happy and thankful that the sump pump was replaced and functioning properly. Check out the new sump pump!
Sagging Porch Floor Lifted in Lenexa, KS
This homeowner was using his covered porch space as an exercise room, however he recently noticed that the floor was a bit unstable. He was concerned that he wouldn't be able to exercise in his room if he didn't try to it, so he decided to give us a call.
We had System Design Specialist Daryn Britton look at the structure of the porch and determine what was causing the floor to feel unstable. Daryn found that the floor was unstable because there was not a strong enough support system underneath the porch. In order to fix this, Daryn suggested that the homeowner had SmartJacks and a new support beam installed. The homeowner liked this solution, so we had an installation team use these products to lift and stabilize the homeowner's porch. The homeowner was happy with the outcome, and he is excited to use the space without worry now. Check out the new support structure under the porch!
Concrete Void Fixed in Papillion, NE
An animal burrowed under this homeowner's patio concrete, causing the concrete slab to sink. The homeowner noticed the animal running under the slab, and that the slab was a little unstable, so he decided to give us a call.
We sent System Design Specialist Spencer Johnson to inspect the concrete and determine how to fill the void the animal left under the concrete as well as how to prevent the animal from trying to burrow there again. Spencer found that the best way to do so is by lifting, leveling, and sealing the concrete with strong, nontoxic material that the animal couldn't break. He got right to work on injecting PolyLevel foam to fill the void, lift, and level the concrete, then he used NexusPro sealant to seal off the cracks and joints of the concrete.
The homeowner was very happy with the quality work that was done, and he can't wait to enjoy his patio once more. Check out the filled void in the concrete!
