We sent System Design Specialist Thomas Graff to welcome them to the area, as well as diagnose and solve the tripping hazard these homeowners were facing. After inspection, Thomas determined that the home had recently installed gutters, however the old gutter system was still collecting water which lead directly to the front walkway. The soil underneath the walkway was weakened by the water erosion from the gutters, so the soil settled, causing a massive void under the front stoop. The homeowners were frustrated by this as it was a new-to-them home, but Thomas knew just how to help them fix their problem. Our installation team was sent out and they used PolyLevel foam and NexusPro sealant to lift, level, and seal the front stoop and walkway.

This homeowner originally called us out for a free estimate regarding waterproofing solutions for his wet basement floor. When System Design Specialist Bobby Bartow discovered the foundation wall problem, he knew that he needed to refocus the homeowner on the more immediate issue. Bobby discovered that the previous company who had used carbon fiber tape to fix the concrete wall did not know that this product cannot properly support a concrete wall. After explaining this problem to the homeowner, the homeowner was determined to have this problem solved the right way so that he would no longer need to worry about his wall he thought was stable.

While this installation was happening, Bobby knew that the homeowner was still wanting some waterproofing solutions so that his basement was not wet, yet the homeowner still wanted to stay within a budget that included the PowerBraces; Bobby talked to the homeowner and to the crew to work on installing a TripleSafe Sump Pump System to ensure that water would be pumped out of the basement regardless of the situation.

This homeowner was having problems with water getting in their basement. She wanted to refinish her basement as an entertainment space for her kids, however she needed to have a dry basement in order to do that. We sent an installation team out to install Geo-Lock Anchors on the south wall of the home and PowerBraces on the west wall of the home. These solutions help to stabilize the walls and move them back to their original positions over time. After fixing the wall troubles, our team started to work on waterproofing the walls to prevent any further damage. Our team used the WaterGuard Interior Drainage System and CleanSpace Vapor Barrier along the south and east walls of the home. Finally, our team installed a new Sump Pump in order to keep water pumping out of the basement.

Anthony found that the expansion joint on the concrete as well as a few other smaller joints near the garage needed to be sealed properly in order to avoid this settlement problem. After discussing which concrete joints were the most troublesome for the homeowner, Anthony worked using NexusPro Sealant to seal off the troublesome joints in the concrete.
