Wet Basement Solved in Berryton, KS
This homeowner wanted to give his home to his daughter in the near future, but he knew that the basement was consistently wet. Wanting to ensure that the basement is dry for her, he read our online reviews and decided to give us a call.
We sent System Design Specialist Brandon Powers to inspect the basement and determine what was causing the water problem. Brandon found that water was seeping into the basement through the cold joint, but he knew just what to do in order to solve this problem. He talked to the homeowner, then called a team out to install full perimeter waterproofing solutions. The team installed WaterGuard Interior Drainage System and a full height CleanSpace Vapor Barrier to capture all the moisture and water, then redirect it to the sump pump so it would leave the basement. Also, the team installed a new PolyWell so that the homeowner didn't need to worry about his old one causing problems in the future.
The homeowner was thrilled with the final result. Initially, he only wanted a part of his perimeter done, but after he saw the beginning of the installation, he decided that he wanted to do the whole basement. Check out this homeowner's newly waterproofed basement!
Falling Support Beam Replaced in Des Moines, IA
In this homeowner's basement, the builders used a 4x4 support beam to hold the weight of the home. Underneath this support beam was a supporting post that was knocked over to the point in which the support beam had no additional support structure. The homeowner saw this and was immediately concerned that her home would have many problems because of it, so she decided to give us a call.
We had System Design Specialist Ryan Allen go to inspect the basement's support structure and determine what support structure would best replace the failed support post. Ryan discussed the severity of the situation with the homeowner, and they came to the conclusion to have this installed and completed as quickly as possible, so Ryan called one of our installation teams. Our team installed a SmartJack post to provide the proper support that the home's support beam needed. The homeowner was relieved that her problem was solved. Wall Support in Indianola, IA
This homeowner was very worried that her basement wall was caving in, to the point at which she was having nightmares about it falling in completely. She knew that if she let her wall continue to cave, it could be very hurtful to her home's structure as well as cause her more worry everyday. She really wanted to have this problem solved once and for all, so she gave us a call.
We had System Design Specialist Tyler Dopheide drive out to this home and inspect the wall to determine what systems we could use to support the wall. Tyler found the wall was still in an early stage of wall failure which posed a limited harm in its current state, however it would become much worse, more difficult, and more expensive to fix if the homeowner didn't choose to solve it immediately. After talking to the homeowner, she was relieved that Tyler knew the solution for her problem, and she was very eager to have her wall supported.

Basement Water and Smells Fixed in Perry, IA
This homeowner was getting water in her basement making the house settle and causing a huge musty smell throughout her home. She wanted to stop her home from settling further and she wanted to have her home smell better. She gave us a call to get out advise as to what problem she should fix first.
We sent System Design Specialist Tyler Paulson to inspect the basement and foundation to determine what problem would harm her home most and discover what problem needs to be fixed first. Tyler found that water was getting in the basement because in periods of heavy rain, water was pooling at the foundation wall and creeping into the the floor joints and walls. After careful consideration, Tyler came to the conclusion that the basement needed waterproofing in order to stop it from settling, otherwise the home would continue to settle; The air quality problems known from the musty smells could also lead to further health issues. When he talked with the homeowner, the homeowner agreed that the waterproofing needed to be done completely to ensure that no water would get into the home and cause problems.
One of our installation teams went to this home and began to install CleanSpace Vapor Barrier and WaterGuard Interior Drainage System to encapsulate and guide water out of the home. Next, they got to work on redirecting and burying the homeowner's downspouts so that they would send water away from the home's foundation. Finally, the team tackled the air quality problems by installing a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier to rid the home of musty smells. Sump Pump Waterproofing Addition in Granger, IA
This homeowner previously had a water drainage system installed in her basement, but she was concerned with her current sump pump and its reliability. She knew that we had sump pump options that her parents had used, so she gave us a call.
We sent System Design Specialist Todd King to inspect the older sump pump, determine if it was reliable, then determine what steps to take after the inspection. Todd found that the older sump pump did not have a battery backup, and that this would be problematic if her power ever went out. He also found that the sump pump's age had started to effect it's efficiency. Todd determined that the homeowner could use a new sump pump and the homeowner agreed. Our team came and installed a TripleSafe Sump Pump System that has 3 pumps and a battery backup.
The homeowner was very happy with the work that was done. She now feels secure in her home and knows that she is protected against water damage in a power outage. Check out her new sump pump system!
