We sent System Design Specialist Anthony Salcedo to inspect the support structure of the suspended floor to look for the reason that it began to rot. Anthony found that years of water coming off the hvac system had seeping into the flooring system which caused the metal supports to rust. This meant that the flooring system was compromised and that something needed to be done so that the floors could be structurally sound. Our team installed two Smart Jacks and a supplemental beam to stabilize the suspended floor. These Smart Jacks are made of galvanized steel, which makes sure that they do not rust like other steel or metal support jacks.

We sent System Design Specialist Justice Haven to inspect the crawl space of this home and determine what was causing these musty smells. Justice found that there were excess humidity levels which caused moisture to be present. The additional moisture caused mold to grow, which can cause musty smells in the upstairs levels of a home.
