Concrete Repair in La Vista, NE

Luis and Ann F. love living in their La Vista, NE home and have no plans on moving. But they are concerned about their concrete and the tripping hazard that has formed. Looking for a concrete repair contractor and not knowing much about other solutions besides mudjacking, they decided to give us a call.

System Design Specialist Britton Wood went out to their home for an inspection. The concrete was facing significant settlement in multiple areas. In one area the bottom of the slab was visible. There was another area that was very rigid, uneven, and titled in front of the stair. In a different area, water was starting to pool around the foundation. The crew started with using PolyLevel, an injectable foam to raise the settled spots. We then applied NexusPro Joint Sealant to the cracks and joints to close them up. Louis and Ann were beyond thrilled with how everything turned out and their expectations were exceeded.

Crawl Space Encapsulation in Grand Island, NE

Deb I. and her siblings recently inherited their parent’s home in Grand Island, NE, and they wanted to have it fully inspected to ensure it’s in proper condition. They called Thrasher for their home repair needs because of our reputation and recommendations from surrounding people. During the inspection, System Design Specialist Brandon Headrick noticed the home’s crawl space had severely high moisture and humidity levels.

To combat the crawl space issues, Deb opted to have Thrasher encapsulate the entire space. Our team began by completely clearing out the crawl space, and then applied our CleanSpace moisture barrier to all floors and walls. To drain the captured water, the crew installed our SmartDrain system that alerts the homeowner if there’s ever a plumbing leak, and if there is it automatically drains the water into a dry well beneath the CleanSpace waterproof barrier. These two products work together to perform the ultimate crawl space encapsulation in order to keep it dry year-round.

Deb and her siblings were more than pleased with our crawl space solutions. They were impressed with the efficiency and display of professionalism from our team and were relieved to have their parent’s home fully repaired. Thrasher was able to restore their peace of mind by improving the quality of their new home.

Foundation and Concrete Repair in Wellington, KS

Dennis & Almetta I. have owned their home in Wellington, KS for a long time. Years back, they added an addition to the home and were now facing settlement issues. They decided to call Thrasher to learn about foundation repair options.

System Design Specialist Josh Brown went out to their home for an inspection. He was able to identify that soil was being washed away due to poor drainage. Also, the footings for the addition were very shallow and that was causing stabilization issues. The crew installed PushPiers to stabilize the wall and lift the settled areas, fixing any future problems. We also lifted the interior concrete of their master bedroom with PolyLevel, getting rid of the trip hazard. The downspouts were also buried to prevent water from collecting around the foundation.
