Thrasher Foundation Repair Before & After Photos

David B. in Overland Park, KS was struggling with his concrete. He previously had the area mudjacked but found this was not working. He noticed that there were critters digging underneath creating voids and the concrete was becoming unlevel again. System Design Specialist Lukas Popp arrived at David’s home to inspect the concrete. Lukas found there to be multiple voids and cracks were forming because of those voids. First, we leveled the concrete with PolyLevel, which a foam that is injected into the concrete. Then we sealed the cracks and joints with NexusPro Joint Sealant to prevent water from creating future voids. Then we put a protective layer over all the concrete

Doug and Mary C. have plans to sell their home in Omaha, NE within the next few years and wanted to maximize its value. The home had some concrete issues throughout, and they knew it was time to have them repaired before they got any worse with more time. There were multiple settled areas on the driveway and back patio, and multiple cracks spreading across the driveway. To begin the concrete repair, System Design Specialist Ben Hawley arrived at the Omaha, NE home to undergo a full inspection of the concrete around the home. Doug and Mary opted to have our teams install our two-part concrete protection system that consists of PolyLevel foam and NexusPro sealer. PolyLevel is installed first by injecting the foam underneath the concrete to permanently lift and level it. NexusPro sealer is then applied to all cracks and joints to prevent any water from breaching the surface in the future. In addition to the two-part system, the crew installed our CompressionGuard, a 3-inch-wide expansion joint, to give the concrete a range of motion during the change of seasons and prevent damage to the foundation.

Linda S. Yutan, NE is part of Thrasher’s annual maintenance program. Each year she gets her Thrasher system checked out to make sure that is performing well. During the visit, an inspection is performed by one our service technicians to make sure nothing else comes up for the homeowner.

During the annual maintenance appointment Service Technician Wes Marshall inspected the gutters. He found that the gutters were completely full of branches and helicopters. With the gutters completely clogged, water would go right back over the gutters and potentially back into the foundation walls, impacting the waterproofing that she had done on her basement.

The crew installed RainDrop on top of the gutters to keep any debris from entering the gutters, only allowing water to enter and keep the gutters clean. Linda was very pleased with how RainDrop looked over the top of her gutters and thrilled to know this wouldn’t be a problem again.

Homeowners Lee and Debra P. in Newton, KS needed concrete repair. The concrete had settled in many different areas in the driveway and raised a lot of safety concerns. Looking to get rid of the safety concerns, they called Thrasher for some concrete driveway repair.

We sent System Design Specialist Josh Brown out to their home. He was able to see that the settlement that had occurred in the driveway was causing safety concerns, making it hard to utilize the driveway and hurting the appearance of the concrete. To start with the concrete repair, we first used PolyLevel to lift all of the areas where settlement occurred. Then we used NexusPro Joint Sealant to seal and protect all the joints and cracks.

Homeowners Daniel and Sharon Z. recently moved into their lake home. They noticed that the basement had high levels of humidity and were concerned with how this would affect their health and the home. The home’s crawl space was previously encapsulated by Thrasher, and they have worked with us in the past, so they felt confident that we could help them take control of the humidity.

Service Technician Daniel Hilkemann went out to their home. The home lacked a dehumidifier, and we installed a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier to reduce the relative humidity in the crawl space and purify the air.  Daniel and Sharon were glad to have a peace of mind in knowing the crawl space would remain mold free and the new dehumidifier would keep the air clean.
