Thrasher Foundation Repair Before & After Photos

Jeff W. is a homeowner in Baxter Springs, KS but had recently purchased a new home making him want to sell his current one. System Design Specialist Robert Griffin arrived in Baxter Springs to perform a thorough inspection in order to find the best solution. The interior wall that separated the crawl space from the cellar area had a two-inch sheer at the bottom and deflected enough the floor above it had dropped. To fix this, the team installed our PowerBrace support system and ShotLock wall restoration. The PowerBrace permanently stabilizes the foundation and can be tightened over time to return it to its vertical position. ShotLock is then used to seal all cracks to prevent water from seeping in.

The homeowner in Stilwell, KS was struggling with their concrete leading from the driveway up to the front steps. There was major settlement that had occurred and it was becoming a trip hazard. Worried that it would become worse and other parts would also start to settle, they decided to call Thrasher.

The crew was able to identify that major settlement had occurred because the soil underneath had washed away due to exposed joints. We used PolyLevel to bring the slab back up to the original level, getting rid of the trip hazard. Then to seal the joints we used NexusPro Joint Sealant to close up the exposed joints and prevent water from entering. The customer was extremely happy to never have to worry about tripping over their concrete again.

New homeowner Eric C. bought an older home and was looking to add an addition on to the home. Before starting the project, he kept on smelling a musty odor anytime it would rain. Worried that his crawl space was getting wet, he decided to give Thrasher a call.

System Design Specialist John Hollingsworth went out to Eric’s home and found a solution to keeping the crawl space dry. The crew installed full perimeter waterproofing with WaterGuard and also put in a Triple Safe Sump Pump. Eric was extremely pleased to know that the crawl space would remain dry and that he could continue on with the addition.

Countryside Christian Church in Maryville, MO has been battling water issues in the basement for over a decade. They utilize their basement heavily for classrooms, gatherings, and hosting events. Jim D. of the church opted to have us install our WaterGuard basement waterproofing system throughout the entire space. In addition, the team installed two lateral drain lines down the middle of the building to prevent any clogging from soils underneath. Lastly, our waterproof plastic barrier CleanSpace was applied to all the walls to prevent any water from seeping through. These two products combined guarantee the basement stays dry year-round.
