Wet and Moldy Basement Fixed in Springfield, MO
This rental property owner was between tenants moving so he decided to check out his units and determine if there were any issues that he could fix before the new tenants moved in. He found that the basement was unusable because of water damage and this would effect the rent he could charge for one of his units, so he decided to give us a call to see what solutions we could offer that would help increase the value of his rental property.
We sent System Design Specialist Austin Harris to inspect the basement of this unit, determine what the damage was from water, and design a custom solution that would fix the water issue in this rental property. Austin found that water was getting into the basement during heavy rains from the cold joints of the walls and floors. He also found that there was a high humidity level in the basement causing mold growth and truly making the basement an unlivable space. He discussed this problem with the property owner and they property owner decided that he needed to fix this problem as soon as possible. One of our installation teams quickly came to the property ready to fix the problem, utilizing a full perimeter WaterGuard Interior Drainage System, a full height CleanSpace Vapor Barrier, and a trench drain in front of the garage. These solutions not only waterproofed the basement, but they also sealed off humidity from growing mold in this space by encapsulating it.

Basement Water and Structure Problems Solved in Topeka, KS
This homeowner had standing water in her basement and her son was planning on moving into her home and using the basement area as storage for his possessions. She knew that she needed to fix this problem for her son to be able to move in, so she decided to give us a call to see what solutions we could offer.
We sent System Design Specialist Bobby Bartow to inspect the basement water problem, determine what was causing the problem, and design a solution to fix this problem. Bobby found that water was getting into the homeowner's basement on two different sides on the cold joints of the walls and floors. After that, they installed WaterGuard Interior Drainage System, partial height CleanSpace Vapor Barrier, a lateral line, and a TripleSafe Sump Pump System to effectively waterproof the basement by draining and pumping water away.

Poor Wall Anchors Replaced in Kansas City, KS
This homeowner was planning on moving in the coming years, so she knew that she needed to fix any issues so that she could get full value for her home. She called another foundation repair company come to fix her foundation walls, however their anchors were not fixing the wall bowing issues. Frustrated by this solution failing, she decided to give us a call.
We sent System Design Specialist Daryn Britton to inspect the previous wall anchors, determine why the walls were still bowing, and design a solution to fix the walls permanently. Daryn found that the previous anchors had a few problems such as not being installed correctly and that the hydrostatic pressure against the walls was stronger than the anchors were. He knew that these walls could be fixed with anchors that were stronger than the pressure as well as installed correctly, so he called for an installation team to properly fix these walls. One of our installation teams answered the call and came to the home installing GeoLock Wall Anchors on the failing walls.

Falling Deck Saved in Arapahoe, NE
This homeowner was worried that her retaining wall would fall and her deck to collapse as they were both unsteady. She knew after having used our services in the past that we would be able to help ease these worries and find solutions for her again, so she gave us a call.
We sent System Design Specialist Brock Scott to inspect the retaining wall and deck structures in order to thoroughly understand the problems and design solutions to stabilize the structure. When inspecting for the problem, Brock noticed that the house appeared to have significant water damage to the wooden support wall as well as weakened soil due to soil washout. He knew that this damage would not be beneficial for supporting the deck, so he found that new support posts and anchors were needed. One of our installation teams came to the home and started to utilize SmartJacks to reinforce the deck supports and to support the roof structure in that area. After that, they utilized GeoLock Wall Anchors to pull the retaining wall back overtime which would help the structure to further stabilize.
