If you wouldn't have a dirt floor in one of your bedrooms, you shouldn't have one in your crawl space. The crawl space is just as connected to your home as any other room, but unfortunately, they're often forgotten about. This customer decided to take the next step and get their crawl space encapsulated for better air quality in their home!

Look at this sharp waterproofing system in this basement! There was water coming through the walls and the cold joint, as well as having bowing walls. To help combat these issues we installed our waterproofing systems including CleanSpace and WaterGuard. Cleanspace is the "white stuff on the walls." It is a waterproof, tarp-like material that collects any water from coming in through the walls and sends it to the WaterGuard. WaterGuard collects the water from the CleanSpace and cold joint and sends it to the sump pump, which will discharge the water out of the home at a safe distance. To help the the bowing walls, we installed PowerBraces, which are floor to ceiling braces to prevent any further deflection, and over time can be adjusted to help straighten the wall back out. This customer lives in a duplex and was worried the shared wall was going to fall over. When we went to inspect, we found that the center footing of the duplex was settling. To fix this issue, we installed Push Piers to lift the home back and permanently stabilize on stronger soil.
